Every 8-year old who has learned the circumfence of the earth can easily spot this wrong information. RE: snow on the south face & none on the north face. It's because the ocean is south of the mountain & the moist air from there blows up towards the mountain, especially if there is a typhoon. The warm moist air travels to the mountains & the moisture freezes & becomes snow that starts to fall, most of it dropped before going to the north side of the mountain. EVEN IF snow falls there, snow evaporates in very dry air, & quickly disappears, even in freezing temperatures. North of this mountain is the Gobi Desert -- extremely dry air, and as with everything, tries to "equalize" basically sucking up the moisture from any snow that is present.
